Our coffee is given an appropriate treatment. We avoid the excessive use of agrochemicals, in order to foster a better management of natural resources according to the blooming seasons.
The MOIST PROCESS is carried out as a craftsmanship activity. Its aim is to release the coffee bean from the skin and pulp that cover it.
After being carefully treated, our coffee then enters the process of sun-drying. It is first placed on African beds or sieves, also referred to as stretchers. Finally, the coffee is spread out on a concrete patio for final drying.
The coffee is then roasted in a simple manner, under strict standards of safety and hygiene that are implemented by Tostadora Coto Brus, a company with an excellent performance in the coffee industry. The outcome is a coffee whose aroma and flavor are hallmarks of quality in the production of Café San Vito.
The final stage is packaging. Our coffee, either Ground or Dark Roast, is packed for our Golden presentation.
